POST-OPERATIVE OUTCOME OF VAGINAL HYSTERECTOMY: CASE REPORT.

Abstract
In the growing age group of 60 years, women undergoing hysterectomy have been found to be at risk of developing or developing urinary incontinence. 43 year female patient complaint of perineal region pain, difficulty in performing daily activity, ambulation activity. When we asses we found that thickened endometrium, the lower uterine segment is seen below the bladder angle level, partial uterine prolapse, chest radiogram showing the presence of infiltrates. Abdomen and pelvic sonography: impression. It has been found that the therapeutic intervention used is effective in minimizing respiratory complications and improving the patient's outcome. Physiotherapy intervention include bed mobility exercises, abdominal exercises, techniques to optimize the respiratory function, pelvic floor muscle exercise. Certain assessment scales are done pain assessment scale by VAS, VAS quality of life assessment scale.A patient capable of achieving goals such as pain reduction, increased muscle strength of the pelvic floor, prevention of respiratory complications, mobility exercises, prevention of secondary complications and ability to perform daily tasks, and improvement of functional capacity after 7 weeks of continuous postoperative rehabilitation.
